Here are some checklist in preparing your Doe for Breeding. 1. AGE - as we all know, a doe matures sexually at 4mos of age, but is not advisable to breed at such young age. The typical or recommended age is at 5 to 6mos old. 2. WEIGHT - Health of the doe is also big factor to consider before breeding. Rule of the thumb is the doe has reached at least 80% to 85% max of the average breed weight. Example NZ, at least at a weight of 3.2kg to 3.4kg. If it lacks the weight then "maghintay ka muna". Dont be so atat in breeding your doe especially if its a first timer. Ano na lang ba yung antayin mo tumaba pa ng konti.
